On November 9, 2018, the 2018 4th Vision of International School (VIS), hosted by NSI, kicked off in Beijing. On the first day, the forum (closed-door meeting) of the “New Mission of Private Education under the New Policy” came to the successfully conclusion. More than 100 executives and leaders from international education enterprises and international school principals participated in the meeting to promote the development of international education in China.

How to adhere to the belief of private education in the confusion after the arrival of the New Policy
At the meeting, Professor Wu Hua focused on the three aspects of rebuilding and developing the foundation of private education, exploring the basic facts of developing private education, and finding the cornerstone of policy for developing private education.
Professor Wu believes that private education is the most important institutional innovation in the field of education in the past 40 years of reform and opening up, and expounds the contribution that private education has made to promote educational equity.
In the subsequent session of Q&A, Professor Wu Hua explained the characteristics, advantages and accelerated education fairness of private international schools, and expounded the bright future of the international education industry. At the same time, Professor Wu Hua deeply analyzed the influences of the "related transactions" and other regulations in the new policy lunched in 2018.

At the meeting,based on detailed statistics, Mr. He explained the factors that drive the development of the international education industry, such as the birth rate and overseas students , and the increase in the number of high -net-worth individuals in China.
Mr. He emphasized that since 2018, the state has introduced various policies and is gradually regulating the development of international education. The promulgation of the law has promoted the development of all types of education, and quality education will be the future development trend. Mr. He Junli took Bright Scholar as an example to expound the characteristics of the group-run school, the development process and the capital's contribution to the international school industry.

Thoughts on the Development of Private Schools
At the meeting, Mr. Xu first talked about the debate on the positioning of the civic schools. Then he clarified that private education provides differentiated services and complementation to the market, emphasizing that the flexible and efficient private education promotes education equity and reform and industry competition.
Finally, Mr. Xu talked about his opinions on the development of private education, including the orientation and misplacement of private schools and the regulation of private education. He also emphasized that passion for the education career is necessary for educators and they should try to solve the problems concerning with enrollment of private schools, the scope of business and curriculum autonomy.
Mr. Xu shared his prediction and the factual influence on the topic that students enrollment in private and public schools should started at the same time and said that this is the new normal of private schools, which should be taken into account in terms of the course and enrollment.
